Getting started with LitosFlow

The three ideas that explain the whole app (tickets, boards and statuses) and a checklist for your first day.
LitosFlow tracks the work your organization has agreed to do. Someone raises a request, it gets assigned to a person, it moves through a few stages, and it finishes. That's the whole product. Everything else is detail on top of those three ideas.
The three ideas
A ticket is one piece of work. A bug, a request, a task, a question. If it needs doing and someone should be accountable for it, it's a ticket. Each one gets a key like GP-142 that's unique in your organization, so you can refer to it in a meeting or paste it into a chat and everyone knows what you mean.
A status is the stage a ticket is at. New boards start with Backlog, To Do, In Progress, In Review and Done. Your organization can configure its own set, and one status is marked "done" so the app knows when work has actually finished.
A board is a view of tickets as cards in status columns. Drag a card from one column to the next and its status changes. Most teams keep one board per area of work.
Your first day
Work through these in order and you'll have seen most of what you need.
- Take the product tour. The first time you sign in, a short guided tour introduces the app. If you skipped it, replay it any time from your profile page under "Product tour".
- Look at your dashboard. It opens on what's relevant to you right now: tickets assigned to you, anything overdue, and recent activity from your team.
- Open a ticket. Click any row on the Tickets page. Working with tickets covers what each field means.
- Create a ticket. Press the keyboard shortcut shown in the search box at the top of the sidebar, or use the New ticket button on the Tickets and Board pages.
- Check your notifications. The bell in the sidebar collects everything aimed at you: assignments, mentions, and changes to tickets you're watching.
Finding your way around
The sidebar is the whole map. Dashboard is your starting point, Tickets is the master list of everything, and Boards is where work gets visualized. Below those sit the tools your role has access to, things like Calendar, Reports and Timesheet. If a guide describes something you can't see in your account, your role probably doesn't include it. Check Roles and permissions.
Learn the search box at the top of the sidebar early. It searches tickets, jumps to any page in the app, and finds these guides, and it opens with a single keystroke from anywhere.
What to read next
- Working with tickets covers every field on a ticket, for everyone.
- Roles and permissions is mainly for admins setting up the team.
Still stuck? The Feedback page in the sidebar reaches the team directly.
